Miramiro is committed to welcoming a wide and diverse audience.

In our communications, we try to clearly communicate which performances we think are suitable for people with disabilities. We do this in our own way using the icons below and age indications for each performance. For specific questions or information, please contact us.

This performance/ activity is accessible for people in a wheelchair. Upon presentation of a European Disability Card, we provide a free ticket for the companion of the wheelchair user. Would you like a free ticket for your companion? Call us to reserve your spot.

This performance/activity contains strong auditory elements, no/ little visual elements necessary to understand the performance or to participate in the activity. We recommend this performance/activity for people with visual impairment.

Through our website, we provide info on the amount of text a performance contains. In many cases it is possible to understand the performance without hearing or understanding the text, as circus is a very visual art form. We ask the artists to send us the texts of performances where there is a lot of text or where the text is necessary to understand the performance.

For the 2026 edition of Smells Like Circus, no audio descriptions are available.

SPECIAL RATES

For Smells Like Circus, we apply the ‘pay what you can’ principle. We offer three ticket prices, with the middle rate being the standard price of the performance. You decide whether to pay the standard price, a higher, or a lower rate.

We use this system as an alternative to the traditional discount policy (for example, based on age), since discounts sometimes end up with people who don’t want or need them. This principle only works through solidarity: by not choosing the lowest rate, you make it possible for others to pay less.
