All tickets for paid performances can be purchased via the ticket link on the performance page or at https://www.viernulvier.gent/.

The evening box office opens one hour before the start of the performance (theater/performances) or at door opening (concerts).

Discounted tickets

For Smells Like Circus, we apply the ‘pay what you can’ principle. We offer three ticket prices, with the middle rate being the standard price of the performance. You choose whether to pay the standard price, a higher, or a lower rate.

We use this system as an alternative to the traditional discount policy (for example, based on age), since discounts sometimes end up with people who don’t want or need them. This principle only works through solidarity: by not choosing the lowest rate, you make it possible for others to pay less.

For people with a disability who hold a European Disability Card, their companion can attend the performance for free. Please contact the VIERNULVIER ticket office to reserve your free companion ticket.

Festival Pass

For just €50, you get unlimited access to all performances of Smells Like Circus. Purchase your festival pass easily at viernulvier.gent/smellslikecircus. After purchase, you’ll receive a unique code that allows you to reserve your favourite shows. Don’t forget: even with your pass, advance booking is necessary to secure your spot.
