About the performance
For juggler Guillaume Martinet, Monochraturé is about expressing oneself, having fun, getting angry. During an explosive juggling solo he embodies his obsession with work, juggling, expression, being with people and the pleasure that comes from it.
The joy of Monochraturé lies in the ability to expand a series of abstractions: with liquid things, things that flow, things that squirm, noisy things, things that roll, things that don’t roll, things that bounce, things bigger than itself, smaller , unexpected, unpredictable.
About Compagnie Defracto
Defracto was founded in 2009 by Laure Caillat, David Maillard Guillaume Martinet and Minh Tam Kaplan. The team today consists of Loyse Delhomme, Camille Fabre, Guillaume Martinet, Pierre Morel, Paul Roussier and Margot Seigneurie.
In 2008, the Cinétique Toc creation came to life. This was followed by Digink (2012), Circuits Fermés (2011), Flaque (2014), Dystonie (2017), Yokai Kemame (2020) and Croûte (2022).
