About the performance

In this new outdoor production, Katleen is delving deeper into the ‘Circus from the past’. Reinventing forgotten handstand skills and bringing them back to life with a fresh wind.

The Amazing Katleen brings an ode to the traditional circus by focussing on the position of the woman, the mother. She is very strong in her arms but shows the human and vulnerable side of being rather weak.

This show is an invitation to stop taking ourselves so serious and to perceive the beauty and humbleness of not being perfect.
