ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE

BEYOND is a dynamic, exhilarating, yet poetic circus and dance performance that explores, challenges and ultimately transcends limits.

Choreographer Piet Van Dycke works with six professional artists, each specializing in a different discipline (ladder walking, acro dance, Acro bike, partner acrobatics and pole dance).

On stage, they transform into boundless bridge builders. Using ladders of varying sizes and heights, they create impressive constructions, from arch sculptures to rotating cranes. They balance the ladders, turning them into a thrilling, teetering playground. They explore unknown  heights, climb, float and dare to engage in a bold choreography.

BEYOND delves into the vulnerability, absurdity, but also the strength of their boundaries—and how they can navigate them through collaboration. Together, they dance on the collective ladders of human imagination.
