About the performance

You, 2 acrobats and 1 drummer. Everything around you moves. The drummer on a rolling stage, the acrobats in the air, … they need the audience to bring their spectacle to life. Discover, together, the power and joy of the collective.

Camille Paycha creates a collective experience in which she considers questions such as:

  • When does gentleness turn to violence during the physical action of a circus technique?
  • When does a purely technical movement become something intimate?

About the Camille

Camille Paycha (°1992) obtained her diploma from the Academy for Circus and Performance in Tilburg in 2015, specializing in ‘Aerial straps’.

Since 2015 she has been working on her own creations. After an initial collaboration with Helaba Compagnie, she founded The Hangman Radio with Noortje Sanders and Thijs Veerman. Camille and Noortje continue to work together under the name Radio Sancha. They make video, performances, exhibitions, etc.

In 2021, Camille is a laureate for the CircusNext 2021 with the show Ice Skates and other cruelties.
