About Rabbits

‘Rabbits’, quotation marks included, is the title of house artist Ruben Mardulier’s latest work. As with his other work, you enter a universe where everyday situations, human conventions and outright assumptions are questioned in an absurd way. Unlike a show with a suspenseful arc, ‘Rabbits’ is an exhibition space where visual art, video and performance come together. The title refers to the film episodes under the same title by the recently passed artist David Lynch, whose work is a major source of inspiration for Ruben. This is precisely the reason why ‘Rabbits’ is dedicated to him.

Ruben Mardulier (b. 1993) is house artist at Miramiro until December 2025.

His work consists of installations, performances and video with an absurd and self-evident character. Register for this unique evening. This work, like all his others, is a one-off.
