About the performance

Labo van de Tederheid is no ordinary performance. It is an experience you feel, hear, smell – a play between proximity and distance, surrender and control. Here circus and experiential theater merge in a series of rituals that touch on the core of existence: birth, life, loss. 

Without words, you are taken into a world in which your body becomes the center. You are carried, cradled, wrapped in cloths that normally float high in the air. Scents evoke memories, whispers caress your hearing, light and dark play with your perception. A simple gesture-a juggling act with towels-gets a deeper meaning, as if everything revolves around the space between touch and letting go. Dare to surrender?
