About the performance
Like a true stage beast, Sandrine Juglair juggles gender representations in a delightful ode to freedom. Clichés go overboard in a wacky universe of burlesque, acrobatics and cabaret.
At the beginning, Juglair recounts her experiences as a child, as a tomboy or as a naughty little girl. Together with her partner and versatile musician, the artist transcends the representations attached to our genders and pokes fun at our attitudes and the attitudes that stem from them. Juglair mocks clichés, swinging her body in all directions and thus leading us to new possibilities. Using the indefinable as a leitmotif, Juglair gives us a taste of freedom. Freedom to be what you want to be.
