ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE

Three elements. Two acrobats on a Chinese pole and oxygen, something invisible that hangs all around us and yet is missing from Jesse Huygh’s body. With the help of Rocio, Jesse shows that we should not be led by fear but by our dreams. Suffering from Cystic Fibrosis himself, Jesse shows the power of hope.

A 2 mètres is about discovering yourself, helping each other and learning to ask for help and finding strength in the fragility of our existence. A moving performance about moments that allow people to feel human.

Last year Jesse played A 2 mètres during Circus Cravings at Houtdok. Bringing the performance to care locations was still an ultimate goal. This year we help him realize this dream.

This project was supported by the outdoor circus network, CIRC’UIT. Of which Miramiro is the proud partner.

This project is not only artistic: we need to really be human
