ABOUT THE PERFORMANCE
A few bamboos, an acrobatic body. Keep it simple, when everything seems to be complex.
This project is part of a long term research around « acrobatic land art », where Kenzo Tokuoka uses his acrobatical, climbing and poetical background to invent ephemeral architectures, both in natural landscapes and urban contexts. As a performer, he continues his search of a minimalist yet highly committed physical langage, always seeking suggestion, sharing of feelings, rather than demonstrating ideas or skills.
ACCESSIBILITY
The location is accessible by bicycle or public transportation (bus 5 or 8 or tram 4, Heilig Kerst stop). Parking is available in the underground parking lot of the Dok Noord shopping center.
The ptry-out takes place in the BOX, a theatre hall within the building (De Expeditie). The location is wheelchair accessible and has an accessible toilet for people with disabilities. Assistance or service dogs are welcome.
