At the center of EZRA is a motorized, rotating platform, a “spinning plate”, with a diameter of 80 cm. This platform, made of wood and metal and positioned low to the ground, turns continuously throughout the entire performance. Two performers occupy this small surface, tightly connected to one another in movement.

As the platform spins rapidly, their movements form a striking contrast by remaining deliberate, slow, and controlled. This interplay between the relentless rotation and the calm, intentional actions of the performers creates a captivating tension. The performers hold each other, climb, balance, and transform into dynamic shapes that seem to float above the ground in a self-contained, almost dreamlike bubble. The spinning isolates them from their surroundings, evoking an otherworldly sense of detachment while simultaneously emphasizing their interdependence.
