About the performance
Knife sharpening is an age-old craft, steeped in care and attention. For a new project by De Wenkbrauwerij, Ief Gilis together with Steven Wouters delves into this refined practice and uncovers the stories behind everyday objects.
Together with Steven, he travels across Flanders: you share your memory or story, Steven writes, and Ief restores the shine to your knife. From a bread knife that colored Sunday mornings to a small object filled with personal meaning, every story matters.
The most beautiful stories will grow into a traveling installation and performance from late 2027 onwards. Will you share yours during Miramiro Summer Festival? Sign up for one of the time slots for free via the website.
Please note: each time slot is reserved for one participant only.
