About the performance
Seven pulcinellas go in search of a bigger something. No one knows where that bigger something might be. Some claim it is in the ground, hanging in the air, lurking in the throat. Until it turns out that the bigger something might be intangible. A singing void, an unfinished smile, a dancing shadow… The something shows itself only when you stop looking for it. Piedestal is a story about the fragility of man who balances and yet dares to soar for a moment to remove himself from the earthly murk.
