About the performance

Two acrobats, each other’s opposites in strength and weight, engage in a wordless dialogue filled with balance, trust, and surrender.

They lift, catch, and launch one another through the air in a play of carrying and letting go. Inspired by the principles of aikido and set to the rhythm of taiko and drums, a harmonious interplay unfolds in which differences fade and moving together takes center stage.

Ki no nagare, or “flowing energy,” is a warm and inviting acro-porté piece where contrast dissolves and the search for inner and mutual harmony lies at its heart.

In the world of Ki no Nagare, there is no boundary between opposition and collaboration.
