About the performance
In this multidisciplinary circus show, a group of teenagers aged 11 to 15 interprets the past through a contemporary looking glass. We based the creation of this show on interviews with the grandparents of the artists.
Using circus and physical theatre we reflect on the living conditions of our grandparents. Hatmakers, tobacco farmers, playing in haystacks, robbing birds nests, different social standards, playing cards instead of computergames, going to church, parents who were very strict. This show is an ode to our grandparents.
